Paul Andrew MacLean has worked across theater, film, and television throughout his career. After earning a degree in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College, he continued his studies in television drama production in London.
His production experience includes work with Full Moon Productions in Hollywood and Green Umbrella Films in Bristol, England. His short film, A Gentleman’s Dispute, was an Official Selection of the Chicago International Film Festival.
Paul has also written extensively about film music and cinema, interviewing renowned composers including Maurice Jarre, George Fenton, Elmer Bernstein, and Basil Poledouris. From 1996 to 2009, he served as film reviewer for Renaissance Magazine and contributed reviews to Videohound’s Guide to Soundtracks.
Most recently, Paul served as cinematographer for the documentary I Am Rochester.
