Two words have guided our journey from the very beginning.
“What if?” is where every story begins—and every story is an invitation to live more courageously, more intentionally, and with fewer regrets.
Regret-Free Productions began with one man’s experience of loss—and a question that would follow him throughout his life.
Long before John Oliphant, PhD, built a career in medicine, research, and global health, three childhood losses shaped the way he thought about life, purpose, and regret. Athletics also became an important part of his life, teaching him about perseverance, possibility, and pushing beyond perceived limits.
Those experiences stayed with him as his work took him into communities around the world, where he encountered people confronting difficult circumstances—and ordinary citizens who chose to step forward and do something about them.
Over time, his curiosity shifted from what these people accomplished to what moved them to begin. That question—and the belief that we can learn from their choices, struggles, and successes—became part of the foundation for Regret-Free Productions.
We begin with a story worth following, but rarely know exactly where it will take us. A conversation can shift the perspective. A place can add context. And sometimes the smallest moments reveal something we never expected to see.
Regret-Free grew from a desire to understand what drives someone forward: where that determination comes from, how they find a way through, and what their experiences might teach the rest of us about purpose, possibility, and the choices we make in our own lives.
“We want to create compelling content that helps people live regret-free, so they can be all they are meant to be.”
